This Week in Corvallis, Oregon
You can meet Remains of Innocence author JA Jance tomorrow, and Concerts in the Park will be doing “Christmas in July” in the evening.
The Benton County Fair and Rodeo opens Wednesday, and we’ve got two Corvallis Knights home games this week, on Wednesday and Thursday. We’ve got some room left on our upcoming Starker Forests Tour, too.
Jazz in the Park features the Hilltop Big Band this week, and the Edible Front Yard Garden Tour is Thursday. Also on Thursday, you can meet author Lloyd Kahn.
This Saturday, we’re looking forward to Matt the Electrician at Harris Bridge Vineyard and the Black and White Summer Night Wine Dinner at Spindrift Cellars.
I’ll be updating our events calendar for August all day, so keep an eye out there for new events and more details!

The Little Gym of Corvallis is hosting a Mid-Summer’s Night Party, and Philomath Uncorked begins at 3:30pm!

Belly Full of Bob is in concert tonight at the Majestic Theatre!

We’ve also got several art shows open today you can check out, winery tasting rooms that are open (take your passport and get it stamped) and craft beer and hard cider taprooms offering tastings. Today is the last day of the Majestic’s da Vinci Days, with youth workshops at 1pm and the concert this evening. You could also see The Van Meyers at Emerson Vineyard, Mufassa and The Autonomics at Bombs Away, and more - check our nightlife listing for bands playing in the area tonight.

Saturday, 7/19

Saturday (and Sunday) is the Graand Kinetic Challenge!

We’ve got the Farmers Market on Saturday, too, and you can go meet local author Eric Wayne Dickey at Grass Roots in the morning. 4 Spirits, Hard Times, and Vivacity Spirits all have tasting room hours this Saturday, or you can join in on a mushroom cultivation workshop at the SAGE Garden in the afternoon. The Grace Center has a BBQ fundraiser in the evening, and there’s lots of live music happening.

Sunday, 7/19

There’s a Naturalist Adventure scheduled for Sunday, as well as all the festivities of the second day of the Graand Kinetic Challenge. You could also visit some of the local taprooms or wineries, or head out to Hard Times if you missed them on Saturday.
