The OSU District Plan Open House is at 4pm.
You can see the Celtic Jam tonight, or go dancing at Impulse.

On Saturday, we’re looking forward to the Corvallis Farmers Market and the Runaway Pumpkin Half Marathon in the morning. The Galleria, a great place to get started on your holiday shopping, opens tomorrow, too. In the afternoon we’ve got 2 Towns Ciderhouse’s Harvest Party and the NaNoWriMo Plot Planning Party. You can also check out “Two Talking Wolves,” a lecture at the Corvallis Public Library.

We’ve got some fun stuff coming up this week, including the Corn Maze at the Melon Shack all week long, and the Swing and Blues Workshop Weekend, which begins Friday!

We’ve got Science Pub tonight, featuring Dee Denver of the OSU College of Science, talking about “The Dharma in DNA.” Tomorrow you can meet author Jake Kaida, and coming up Thursday the Beavers take on Utah. For non-sports fans, Thursday is also the first “Corvallis Arts Walk,” a new monthly art tour that’ll guide folks around and through various art installations and galleries in Corvallis.

Friday we’ve got Matt the Electrician and Tim Easton performing at Harris Bridge Vineyard and Pigs on the Wing at the Majestic. Also on Friday is Word MOB V, the Benton Center’s poetry slam, featuring local poets and an open mic.

The Runaway Pumpkin Half Marathon is happening Saturday, along with the Galleria, a great place to get your holiday shopping started, and 2 Towns Ciderhouse’s Harvest Party, where you can go celebrate after you’re all shopped out.

The Corvallis Public Library is gearing up for NaNoWriMo at their Plot Planning Party this Saturday, too, and on Sunday, you can meet author Pete Fromm at Grass Roots.

There’s a lot happening on Saturday. We’ve got the Corvallis Farmers Market and the Oregon Fall Poultry Swap and Sale. You can go celebrate Archaeology Month at Fort Hoskins or try some amazing food at the annual Greek Fest.
There’s a Brown Bag Artist Talk for Imperfect Perfection that features a free concert, and a kids’ gardening class where they can paint pumpkins. There’s a circus in town, if you’re still hunting for things for the kids to do, too.
You can meet authors Travis Mossotti and Kerry James Evans and a celebration at the Chintimini Wildlife Center - Benton County has been named the first Community Wildlife Habitat in Oregon!
It’s the Beavers vs. Washington again at 7pm in women’s volleyball, and the Puttin’ on the Pink Style Show opens its doors at 7:30pm. John McCutcheon is also in concert Saturday evening.
