The Corvallis Fall Festival is this upcoming weekend!
We’ve got Car Free Day today, and the League of Women Voters September kick-off meeting tomorrow. On Thursday, Darren Doherty, the world’s foremost Permaculture farm planner, is at the LaSells Stewart Center for a lecture. 
The Corvallis Bicycle Collective’s 4th annual Bike Swap is Saturday, so you can stop in there and then head to the Fall Festival with new wheels. The unveiling of the brand new Mulkey Ridge Connector Trail happens Saturday morning, too. And don’t forget about the Fall Festival Run on Sunday!

Local Eats Week continues through the weekend - check the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition and First Alternative's Facebook pages for updates and occasional photos of the specials around town. This is also the last weekend of the Summertime Wine Tour, so snag your passport and get those last few wineries checked off!
Friday, 9/19
Visit the Chintimini Senior and Community Center at noon for the Joe Beaver Radio Show - live! You can also enjoy a Corte Alla Flora wine tasting this evening, or see Tony Furtado in concert at the Majestic.
Saturday, 9/20
Stop in to the Corvallis Farmers Market tomorrow morning, and head out to the Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day Party at Cloud and Kelly’s in the evening. If that doesn’t sound like your thing, you could go ballroom dancing, or enjoy some Spanish guitar at La Guitarra Espanola. There’s also a football game - the Beavers take on San Diego State at 7:30pm.
Sunday, 9/21
Sunday is Run For Your Life, along with the HOUR Traders 13th Annual Harvest Gathering at noon, and the Car Free Festival (with a special opening story time and parade for kids to start things off).

There’s a reception for Art of the Garden at Studio262, and a free concert at the Whiteside Theater featuring German A Cappella band Vocaldente.
The Amelia Piano Trio is also in concert at the Majestic, and Cloud & Kelly’s is hosting Ninkasi Brewing for Pints for  Cause, to raise money for Trout Unlimited Oregon Council.
Saturday, 9/13
