Learn about wild and sour beers with Katy Maxwell, the Beer Education Manager at Block 15, or stop in to Les Caves for Where the Wild Ales Are, which will feature more than a dozen wild and sour beers from around the region.
There’s a reception for Art of the Garden at Studio262, and a free concert at the Whiteside Theater featuring German A Cappella band Vocaldente.
The Amelia Piano Trio is also in concert at the Majestic, and Cloud & Kelly’s is hosting Ninkasi Brewing for Pints for Cause, to raise money for Trout Unlimited Oregon Council.
The Shrewsbury Renaissance Fair opens this Saturday!
We’ve got the Corvallis Farmers Market and a children’s gardening class, as well as tasting room hours at 4 Spirits and Hard Times. You can take a tour of the OSU Fermentation Science Brewery, and Septembeerfest opens at 2pm!
Saturday evening is also Rhapsody in the Vineyard! Stroll downtown Corvallis and sample the wares of our area wineries, while enjoying live music, appetizers, art and more.
Sunday is day two of the Shrewfaire. Murphy’s Restaurant will be holding a BBQ Cook-Off in the afternoon, too.
